The Faces Behind LogiHire
Sam Smeaton
Sam, the founder of LogiHire, started his own recruitment agency in 2012, managing day-to-day
operations and setting strategic direction while staying hands-on with clients and
candidates.
He loves helping businesses grow by finding the right talent and takes great pride in seeing candidates' careers thrive.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys quality time with his wife and fur child, Leo. He is passionate about travelling and exploring new cultures. His favourite reads include *The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari*, and he loves Japanese cuisine.
Fhiona (Lamb) Smeaton
With 8+ years in recruitment, Fhiona collaborates with diverse clients in the logistics sector,
providing expert advice on hiring and talent acquisition strategies to help them stay ahead
in competitive markets.
Naturally curious and always up for a chat, she loves ensuring her clients succeed by finding the best talent to scale their companies.
Outside of work, Fhiona enjoys quality time with her husband and fur child, Leo, and unwinds with reality TV. Fluent in English and Indonesian and proficient in French, she is now learning Greek.
Leo Smeaton
Leo, our Chief Happiness Officer at LogiHire, is part Beagle, part King Charles Cavalier, and mostly human. Based in our Sydney office, he heads up the treats department and constantly tests new treats and toys.
Leo loves meeting new people and ensures a happy office vibe by allowing everyone to pat him on a rotating roster, unless he's by Fhiona's side.
Outside of work, he accompanies Sam and Fhiona everywhere, from restaurants and beaches to weekend markets and even the gym.
Catherine Sale
Catherine brings nearly six years of recruitment experience across diverse industries, including tech, customer service, sales and marketing, and logistics. Her extensive expertise, combined with her ability to understand client and candidate needs, ensures she consistently delivers outstanding results.
Having lived in the Philippines and Dubai, Catherine is deeply multicultural and fluent in Filipino, giving her a unique perspective on global talent markets. She excels at building strong relationships and thrives in diverse environments.
Outside of work, Catherine is an enthusiastic traveler who loves exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures. Her passion for connecting with people is at the core of both her personal and professional life.
